How a start-up raised £700,000 in one month with the help of the Gold Model
I worked with one co-founder and the CEO of a start-up who told me that he had a big challenge, he run out of cash and needed to raise £700K in one month and asked for my help with this challenge.
1. Reverse engineering
The second step was to break down all the different tasks with the help of the Gold Model – Time Management Method.
CEO allocated 3,000 minutes overall for his business a week.
– He saw in his calendar that there were 1,500 minutes scheduled for meeting with staff, investors and external parties
– The CEO decided that 40% would be dedicated to raising capital (see all the relevant tasks in the Gold section below)).
– Lastly, 10% of his time was allocated for nurturing his current sales pipeline.
The result
After all of these, we adjusted the model and monitored the progress of its implementation and optimization into the CEO’s daily life.
The story ends as the capital needed was successfully raised within one month.
